About this mod

Try to jump while jumping (or levitating, or falling) and you'll dash! It costs fatigue, but gives you huge burst speed for a split second. Keeping jumping while out of fatigue, though, and you'll hurt yourself. For Winter Modjam 2023 (Dangers of Vvardenfell, Birds of a Feather).

Jump Air Dash
For OpenMW 0.48.0+
Try to jump while jumping (or levitating, or falling) and you'll dash! It costs fatigue, but gives you huge burst speed for a split second. Keeping jumping while out of fatigue, though, and you'll hurt yourself. For Winter Modjam 2023 (Dangers of Vvardenfell, Birds of a Feather).

[RECOMMENDATIONS]
This can be paired seamlessly with my other OpenMW 0.48+ Lua mods and is now included in my full Timed Directional Combat modpack.

[INSTALLATION]
Unzip the mod subdirectory wherever you put your mods, or on a datapath listed in openmw.cfg (default Windows location C:\Users\...\Documents\My Games\OpenMW), and check the checkbox in OpenMW Launcher > Data Files > MODNAME.omwscripts

[DESCRIPTION]
If you have enough fatigue, enter the jump input while in air, and you'll get the dash buff for 0.15 seconds by default. It gives you a huge burst of speed, but costs fatigue.

Its main tradeoff is as follows: if you run out of fatigue and keep jumping and or air dashing, you'll start taking damage. (It's up to you which.)

So it sort of has 4 modes. 1 vs Unlimited air dashes (all will consume fatigue). Unlimited is useful for if you want to be able to do it while levitating. And hurt on 0 fatigue dash? Or no dash unless you can pay for it, and hurt on moving while in the air on 0 fatigue?

[CONFLICTS]
I hope there aren't any. I've set this mod up so that it doesn't change any values absolutely, and so that it tracks its state internally.
