Part of the May Modathon Month
Overview
In the mead hall of Thirsk, you will find Fenraldr Bloodfang, a Nordic mercenary for hire. He will join you if you are under level 10, if he really likes you, if you pay him, or if you are Thirsk's chieftain. Careful, though--his allegiance to you is not guaranteed. Disrespect Fenraldr's oath, and you disrespect him.

Technically speaking, Fenraldr is basically an amped-up Calvus Horatius. He will follow you, he will carry your things, he will wait where you tell him to wait, and in typical circumstances, he will accept 250 gold to follow you for a month before he must be paid again. Where he differs is he will attack you if you steal from him. He has different lines of dialogue depending on where he is and what your relationship to him is. He'll tell you about his backstory. He'll teleport to you if you get far enough away, so leaving him behind isn't a concern. And if that DOES happen, it's a good thing he gave you that magic mead when he first joined you. His armor and weapons are Dwemer-equivalent, and although you can give him any weapon or armor you want, he will automatically repair the equipment he starts with as long as he has it equipped. He is skilled in heavy armor, blunt weapons, and armorer, and he will train you in these skills as long as he likes you and you're willing to pay.

In all, he seems simple at first glance, but there is a lot going on beneath the hood to make Fenraldr tick. He goes beyond feature parity with Calvus, and I hope to expand his capabilities and personality with time. In the future, he'll have specific quest dialogue (for now, he only comments on "The Missing Missionary" and certain parts of "Mead Hall Massacre"), additional dialogue for specific locations, and more topics from the vanilla game to talk about. I will admit, I made this mod in a state of fleeting spare time and sleep deprived most times I was working on it, so it may be rough around the edges--but it should work. It just works.

Installation
With FenraldrFollower.esp installed, place it below Tribunal and Bloodmoon in your load order, as such:

Tribunal
Bloodmoon
FenraldrFollower.esp

This mod definitely requires Bloodmoon for obvious reasons and Tribunal because of some script functions I used. Cleaned with TES3CMD and the Enchanted Editor. Shouldn't be incompatible with anything, potentially incompatible with anything that modifies the interior of Thirsk, but all I did was place an NPC, so it should be fine.
