About this mod
This mod centers around a group trying to rediscover how to summon the lords of oblivion. You can join in the search to discover how. Be aware, each has their own agenda, and want to be the last one standing at the end. Different quest paths built in, so can be played several times for a slightly different result.
- Permissions and credits
Requirements.
Only Morrowind. I created this mod with v1.6.1820. I do have both expansion packs installed, but have tried to ensure nothing from either was included.
------------------------------------
Installing.
Unzip the file to where ever you want, then just drop the Daedric Sorcery.esp file into the Data Files subfolder. That's it.
------------------------------------
Playing.
Start Morrowind, click on Data Files, scroll through until you find the Daedric Sorcery.esp. Put a check mark next to it, close the window and click play.

What is this mod?
I've always loved the Elric series by Michael Moorcock. I thought it would be neat if you could summon the daedric princes. Now you can. I created a series of quests in which you find out about a group trying to discover how to summon the daedric lords. You can throw your lot in with them, or work against them. Whatever you choose. I built mulitple possiblities into the quests, but they all end up in the end the same way. If you've read Elric, you know what I mean.
------------------------------------
Getting Started.
To kickstart things next time you pass through the Foreign Quarter Plaza in Vivec, swing by the Mages Guild. There will be dark elf hanging around the front door. Note, there are multiple ways to start thing moving along, but he's the most obvious. This mod is not for starting characters. While it is possible to play at any level, I recommend you don't play until at least 12-15th level. Higher is better.

Hints.
Dialog. Sometimes Morrowind will offer the same dialog repetitively if you keep clicking a topic (I hate that). Be careful doing this. Some of the NPCs will know at times when you lie, and that affects how they deal with you. When given a choice of responses, don't just click a response more than once for no reason, especially if you choose to lie, you might just screw up your chance at something.
NPCs. If you tick some off they might just attack you, or maybe not. They might just wait for an opportunity to stick it to you. They might have someone else do it for them, when you least expect it. Most of the NPCs have their own agenda, be careful whom you trust...
Persuasion. Don't try using Bribe, Taunt, Admire on the daedric Princes. It won't work, you will always fail, and you could piss them off. This could be Very Bad (see Combat below).
Combat. I made the daedric princes pretty tough. Unless you use the console to max your PC out, they probably won't last a round. Hey c'mon, these are gods...
Beware godlings bearing gifts. Some gifts are benign, others are not.
I've included a Hint file in case you're just plain stuck with something, but use as a last resort. Why spoil the fun?
------------------------------------
Conflicts.
I did not test this mod with other mods. It shouldn't cause any problems with either Tribunal or Bloodmoon, but I have no idea with other mods. I made quite a few adjustments to stock NPCs, so you may just find conflicts now and then. You've been warned.

Bugs and updates!
The following issues were brought to my attention, and I have updated the mod accordingly
-Mehrunes Dagon would incorrectly give you two glass bracers for a quest reward.
-Mephala would not recognize members of the Morag Tong, thus specific dialog for members would never appear.
-Mod was not compatible with Vampire Embrace, a request was made to enable this.
All such issues have been resolved. Thanks to those who brought these to my attention!
------------------------------------
Cleaned.
This mod has been cleaned with TESTool and TESAME. I used the Enchanted Editor for some editing work. I did a spell check of the dialog, but lord knows how well that works late at night pinging on caffeine.
------------------------------------
Lastly.
I had wanted so badly to include so many great objects and ideas created by the vast number of great modders out there. But I stuck to my vision of a stand alone mod requiring only Morrowind to play. But I give free reign to the community to do with this mod as it wills. I'm not worried if you don't credit me, but at least credit those below. They helped make this mod.
------------------------------------
Thanks to...
Bethesda, because they made Morrowind. Duh.
Every modder out there, each and every one has inspired me in some way.
Martini60 and BigChief: You patiently and kindly answered questions about scripting when I was a noob.
Canadian Ice (and HD!): The MQB showed me that modding is more than making a big sword and armor.
Emma: For her companion mods. Picking apart the great dialog she did helped me learn how dialog works. Plus she offered good advice I didn't know I needed.
Blith and Dale: For creating Gamer's Roam and putting up with me, and my continual absence while working on this mod. The Roam will be missed.
Peter: For the Vampire Embrace compatibility suggestion, and problem with Mephala's dialog.
Cow_Guru: For pointing out incorrectly given armor award for a quest completion.
Cortex: For creating such a great mod as Vampire Embrace, and going the extra mile to ensure compatiblity with other mods. Kudos Cortex!
Michael Moorcock: For writing the great Elric stories!
The Morrowind Community in general: Some really inspirational and great people out there!
The Beta Testers: These people all offered or agreed to play test; Dvd, Jack_Devil, Laea, gravity13, palinurus, Glorfindel1187, Emma, and LordThyMaster.
