Version 1.25
Updated with l10n localization support.
Version 1.24
Added options for playing separate sounds for Quest Update, Quest Started and Quest Finished. Added iconlists folder, for lua config files that add unique quest icons for new Mods.
Requires OpenMW version 0.49 or later. You can go to the main Gitlab page and download the latest build appropriate for your hardware.
OpenMW version of nazz190's original mod. A Skyrim-style popup box appears on the screen when quests start and finish, displaying the quest name and a matching icon, and playing a sound effect. There is also a sound effect that will play whenever there is a Journal update. Icons can be user customized, using the same customization file that the MWSE version uses.
Version 1.24
Added options for choosing separate audio files for Quest Update, Quest Started and Quest Finished. Added an "iconlists" folder, for .lua config files that add unique quest icons for new Mods. Includes config files for the custom quest icons from the newly released mod Red Wisdom by AFFA-Greatness7-Melchior Dahrk, and the older Melchior Dahrk mods Greymarch Dawn and Imperial Employment Office. Config files will still require you to download the mod and extract the icon files to the correct location, in order to see them in game.
If you are using an OpenMW 0.49 version released May 10 2024 or later: You will no longer need to manually update qnamelist.lua to get correct quest names for newly released Mods, SSQN will find the correct name itself. Older versions of OpenMW 0.49 can still continue to use SSQN as normal.
Version 1.1
Now has a preferences screen in Settings - Scripts - Skyrim Style Quest Notifications, for customization of notification popup
