MWSE (part of MGE XE)

Description
Uses MWSE to add 12 new spell effects to the game. Balanced around the existing spell effects, and distributed to various Mages Guild spell merchants. The effects are:

Fire Aura, Frost Aura, Shock Aura
School: Destruction
Base Cost: 7, 7, 9
Sold by: Marayn Dren in the Balmora Mage's Guild

Surround yourself in a field of elemental forces, harming those that come too close. Damage enemies without even looking at them, and bypass Reflection since the spell is cast as a buff.

Charge Item, Charge Weapon
School: Mysticism
Base Cost: 20
Sold by: Arielle Phiencel in the Wolverine Hall Mage's Guild

Quickly recharge items using magicka with Charge Item or Charge Weapon. Can be used mid-combat, unlike soul gems.

Drain Dodge
School: Illusion
Base Cost: 1
Sold by: Orrent Geontene in the Ald'ruhn Mage's Guild

Makes the target easier to hit by the magnitude. Similar to Fortify Attack, but is an offensive spell rather than a buff. Generally more annoying to use than Fortify Attack, but more convenient to acquire and useful with allies.

Extend Weapon, Haste
School: Alteration
Base Cost: 1.25, 8
Sold by: Heem-la in the Ald'ruhn Mage's Guild

Increase your reach with Extend Weapon, and increase your attack speed with Haste. Haste is good fun with ranged weapons.

Pierce, Quicken
School: Mysticism
Base Cost: 5, 3
Sold by: Arielle Phiencel in Wolverine Hall, Orrent Geontene in Ald'ruhn

These metamagic effects don't have an effect in of themselves, and instead modify how other effects work in the spell. Pierce gives an X% chance to completely ignore reflection effects. Finally, a way to deal with those late-game enemies with insane reflect, though at the cost of extra magicka. Quicken makes spells its part of cast much faster.

Repair Weapon, Unbreakable Weapon
School: Alteration
Base Cost: 5, 25
Sold by: Sharn gra-Muzgob in the Balmora Mage's Guild

Repair Weapon is fairly self-explanatory. Intentionally not very efficient, as Armorer should be the preferred way of repairing gear. Unbreakable Weapon makes a weapon lose no condition for the duration. You can't enchant an item with Repair Weapon, use Unbreakable Weapon instead.

Installation
Drop the "Icons" and "MWSE" folders into Morrowind's Data Files. If removed, make sure no one is under the effects of a spell. Removal will also leave you with a number of non-functional spells.

Compatibility
Uses MWSE, and hence is not compatible with OpenMW. May conflict with mods that alter casting speed, or the merchants that sell the new spells.

Feedback
This is my first mod. Please forgive me for any missteps, and inform me if you encounter any issues or have suggestions.

Known Issues
I am already aware of the following non-critical issues (let me know if you have a fix for them):
- Pierce does not ignore spell absorption, as it is not part of MWSE's list of events. If this is later added, I will add the functionality to Pierce.
- The effects of the elemental aura spells on enemies don't look quite right. I would like it if they were identical in appearance to the fire damage, frost damage, etc. spell effects.
- When you start a new game the spells may not appear in the spell merchants list immediately. Save and then load at least once and they should be there.

Permissions
Feel free to use this mod, and anything within it, however you please. Credit would be highly appreciated, but isn't strictly necessary.

Future
I will do my best to fix any bugs in the current version of the mod.

Some day, I may update this mod or create a 2nd mod that expands on these effects and distributes them to enemies (Ex. giving Flame Atronachs a weak constant Fire Aura) or adds them to certain pieces of loot. Feel free to do so on my behalf.

Recommended Mods
Magicka Expanded - Adds more new spell effects. I was partially inspired by the mod, but ultimately didn't use any code or other assets from it.
Tamriel Rebuilt - Has nothing to do with this mod, but is really cool and inspired me to investigate Morrowind modding.
