Speechcraft, the ability to admire, taunt, and intimidate other characters in the world of Morrowind, is a bit of an underutilized skill in the vanilla game, one that lacks a true sense of progression as your ability improves. Which is where today's Mod of the Day comes in, for today we're showcasing Silver Tongue by VitruvianGuar, a mod that adds new perks and abilities to the speechcraft skill.

Now, this skill has a true sense of progression, for new characters with a low speechcraft not only won't be able to effectively persuade NPCs, but they won't even be able to tell an NPC's disposition towards them, and only have access to bribing options in the persuasion menu.

As a character improves in speechcraft, they'll first unlock the disposition bar and admire ability, and then later on taunt and intimidate, with new UI features for an NPC's inclinations towards a fight and their awareness of your actions.

With Silver Tongue, especially skilled users of speechcraft can even bribe guards to look the other way, and pacify hostile NPCs through conversation.

Silver Tongue is a masterful, yet simple, transformation of Morrowind's speechcraft mechanics, and it's an excellent mod to add to your next play-through!
