Inspired by the maps of The Elder Scrolls: Arena, today's Mods of the Day add a new sub-biome to The Ashlands, adding a bit of diversity to one of the game's largest regions.

Today's Mods of the Day are Markgran Forest (Maar Gan Forest) By Demanufacturer87 and Another Markgran Forest By Markond, two mods that both aim to do roughly the same thing, adding a new fungal forest to the environments around the village of Maar Gan, albeit with slightly different takes.

Utilizing assets from Tamriel Data, both mods transform the northern corner of the Ashlands around Maar Gan into a dense forest of ashen parasol mushrooms, a scenic transformation of a once rather neglected part of the Ashlands, giving it a new sense of life and making it a far more visually exciting area to travel through.

Demanufacturer's version expands the forest all the way to the outskirts of Kogoruhn, including a new quest for you to find along the way, while Markond's version is a bit more subdued, aiming to achieve maximum compatibility with other mods and a better performance while still providing a rich landscape overhaul.

Both mods are excellent additions to the game, and a vast improvement on the vanilla terrain, I would personally recommend giving them both a try!
