About this video

One of Morrowind's most remote and desolate regions, the Molag Amur has long stood as an inhospitable and forlorn set of wastelands, one where the ground bubbles with volcanic activity, where vast lavafields impede would-be travelers. And today's Mods of the Day make this terrain even more rough and difficult to traverse, for today we're showcasing Mountains of Molag Amur and A River of Fire both by Markond.

Mountains of Molag Amur is a landscape overhaul, adding new, glorious peaks of verticality to the hills and ridges of the Molag Amur, transforming once mere bumps in the terrain to scenic edifices of stone that rise far above the valleys below. It is a truly awe-inspiring sight, seeing those peaks on the horizon, beyond those great scathes.

Combined with this, A River of Fire transforms the once barren and neglected Foyada Ashur-Dan into a true river of lava with pools of magma flooding this once hollow ravine and leading all the way to the foot of Red Mountain.

Both of these mods do a beautiful job of overhauling once neglected parts of Morrowind's landscapes, and with full compatibility for many of the other popular mods in this region, they're an easy recommendation to make, a must-have for lovers of that sublime verticality!
