HAPPY HALLOWEEN. For the nerds that play MK, enjoy this JL pack as your gaming treat. This week was spent on improving lessons from the last month. Specifically texturing and manipulating materials. While testing, I think I found a way to give opacity to all characters, even if they don't have a hair directory due to a better understanding of what BLEND_MODE is needed. Circling back to that next time. But for now I worked on implementing scripting to convert the vertex group names from Injustice 2 to MK1. This lets me bring over the official weight painting for those models. I have really nailed that process down now and Aquaman for example used the script and I only made 2 changes to him after that. I repainted the head to be fully weighted since it accounts for all the facial animations from that game too and the left hand comes out messed up so I cut it off and did the traditional weight paint method before stitching it back up by merging the vertexs. Overall he moves so much better and the amount of bugs that come from the weight painting process is drastically reduced. At first this process took a long time because I was remaking the other 40 new vertex groups but now I realized I don't necessarily need it. Just use the script, paint the head, patch the left hand. 

Some improvements to metal like with Dr Fate. Some characters like Black Canary did not come with roughness or metal maps and I had to create those from scratch. When I first put Black Canary in, she was a brunette despite the blonde textures. If you make the correct hair textures like PIA, etc, they will display appropriately. It takes 5 minutes if you are not lazy and want to actually give effort to have the hair display correctly. Unfortunately, Black Canary was the last character I worked on when I went into hair testing since it didn't work appropriately. Wonder Woman is due for some love and taking a look at her hair textures again but I won't be by my pc for a day or two.

Superman  - Homelander
- No Cape physics. I shortened the cape by a lot but still think it can improve. I just saw the batman that utilizes mending the original cape to the arms and tucking into the back. Can def work for superman too but idk how many more superman mods are really needed? Maybe for future caped characters.
Green Arrow - Stryker
- Looks good so far
Wonder Woman - Sonya
- Her hair color is a bit grey. I need to create perfect textures for her other hair pieces. If I fix I can port over to Ashrah too. 
- Her hair weights are not great. I am going to re-do them when I fix her hair textures.

Dr Fate - Omniman
- Looks good so far
Cyborg Grid Version - Sektor (Both)
- Minor texture issue on the chest piece. During the combination of emissions and diffuse something was off. 
Green Lantern - Johnny Cage / Darrius
- Johnnys mask can sometimes clip into his cheek bones. The only time I have seen this happen is on his fatality where he livestreams it. 
Batman Beyond - Smoke / Takeda
- Looks good so far
Black Canary - Sindel
- Her hair and head size is different so her her animations may look off
Aquaman - Rain
- Some weights are harsh around elbows. Will investigate.
