7.14 - Maja's Decal Pack adds 260+ high-res vehicle decals including European and American logistics companies, motorsport sponsors (Monster, Red Bull), vehicle brands (BMW, Mercedes), and alphabet letters. Features fuel companies, tuning brands (Pirelli, Brembo), and hazmat placards. Optional decal draw distance fixes for 7.13

Maja's Decal Pack expands the selection of vehicle decals, introducing high-resolution logos, liveries, and alphabet letters for more customization. The initial release includes some of the largest logistics and transport companies in Europe, with plans to add more in future updates.

Currently compatible with: 0.7.14, 0.7.13 and 0.7.12

New additional decals v1:
  • 26 modern English alphabet letter decals
  • 45 decals featuring logos of 36 of Europe’s biggest logistics and transport organizations in 2K resolution
Updates in v2:
  • Over 30 tuning and car part-related brands, such as BILSTEIN, Pirelli, and Brembo, along with well-known sponsors like Monster and Red Bull.
  • 17 new decals featuring several major fuel and gas companies, as well as globally recognized brands like Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
  • Two colorable gradients that transition from full color to transparent.
  • In total this pack adds 117 new additional decals!

NEW Optional decal draw distance patch -
28th June: 7.14 Update has this function in the game. This optional file is now only increasing the distance that the engine sounds can be heard from. Without it the engine sounds cut off at 5-10 meters.
25th April: Universal update for 0.7.13, 0.7.12, all past and future game updates.
11th May: Updated LOW preset, increased distance from 200 to 250-270 meters. USE the LOW Preset if you're playing singleplayer with AI. MID and MAX presets are for Multiplayer with no AI. AI Traffic freezes occasionally when using MID and HIGH presets. 

By default the games decal layer is set show for only a short distance from the vehicle. Now you can change that distance by a lot, up to 450m from the vehicle. An example can be seen in the images tab. Standalone patch files can be found in the Optional Files category. See what works for you the best. 0.7.1x files work for all game versions, no longer need to wait for new updates each game hotfix. Again, LOW preset is for Singleplayer so the AI doesn't freeze!

Mod Incompatibilities
  • Compatible with the exclusive Protect The Sink and Big Belly Trucking decal packs if the compatibility file is downloaded from the their Discord channels.
  • Incompatible with any mod that adds new decals (currently, this is the only one on the Nexus).

Save Incompatibilities
  • If a vehicle has these new decals and the mod is removed, the decals will be replaced with blank squares.
  • To ensure the safety of your saves, create a backup of your save folder:
    • %localappdata%\MotorTown\Saved\SaveGames
    • C:\Users\_____your_user____\AppData\Local\MotorTown\Saved\SaveGames

Multiplayer Compatibility
  • If the host does not have the mod, only you will see the new decals.
  • Players with the mod installed will see all decals properly.
  • Uploading to the workshop is possible, but additional decals introduced by this mod will only be visible to players who also have the mod installed.

Game version Compatibility
  • Decal Draw Engine Sound Distance works with 7.14, Decal draw distance is now increased in the base game without this optional mod.
  • Decals are made for 0.7.14, 0.7.13 and 0.7.12 and should work for future releases as long as there are no new official decals. 

Installation
  • Download from the Files page, open or extract the ZIP archive.
  • Place "MajasDecalPackV*_P.pak" in 
  • Steam\steamapps\common\Motor Town\MotorTown\Content\Paks
  • You should now have two .paks in the folder. MotorTown-Windows.pak and MajasDecalPackV*_P.pak

Updates
  • Replace "MajasDecalPackV*_P.pak" with "MajasDecalPackV3_P.pak"
  • Users using V1 and V2 will not see the new decals featured in V3 that other users may be using.
  • Users using V3 will see both V2 and V1 decals.

Uninstall
  • Remove "MajasDecalPackV*_P.pak" from
  • Steam\steamapps\common\Motor Town\MotorTown\Content\Paks
  • Drive to a garage/service and delete the blank decals to free up the slots.

Known Issues
  • Decals disappear (culling) when the player moves away from the vehicle. Download the optional draw distance patch from Optional Files. By default the decals are set to display only on the highest vehicle LOD model and it's set to a few steps away from the vehicle. There is minimal to no difference in the LOD models on these vehicles. I've increased the LOD distances.
  • AI Traffic Freezes when using Draw Distance Patch. Use the LOW Draw Distance patch if you're playing singleplayer with AI. For some unknown reason AI freezes occasionally when using MID and HIGH Draw Distance Patches.
