The Excubitors rain down on hapless Sturgian foes

Just a quick preview of some of the troops I've created for an upcoming mod. These troops offer an example of the unique Empire troops I will be introducing as a key feature of the mod.

Originally recruited from the fierce Itanlar mountain tribes, the unit has become the new elite infantry of the Republic. Though its status has changed, the Excubitorii remains a predominantly foreign regiment. Indeed, beneath that mailed visage could be anything, from a mountain refugee to Vaegir Guard veteran. With heavy armour, crossbow, axe and shield, they excel in defensive operation.
