Changelogs
Version 1.0.2
Added population options -200, -10%, -30%
Version 1.0.1
Quick bugfix for crash on campaign start. Will need to reload game once before population management menus appear.
Version 1.0.0
Initial release. Mod can reduce prosperity (population) at the expense of loyalty. Cheat mode allows reducing or increasing it without any negative effects.
This mod helps to deal with often low food supplies and garrison deaths related to prosperity in settlements.
By clicking Manage Population, you can reduce the prosperity (called population in the mod) of your settlements as much as you like. However, it also reduces loyalty proportionally. For example, if you reduce population by 100 and this is 10% of it, loyalty goes down by 10% as well.
Alternatively, if you enable Bannerlord's cheat_mode, you can reduce or increase prosperity without negative effects and in any settlement.
Compatibility
Should be compatible with all other mods. Doesn't overwrite any classes nor dlls. You can add it to your game any time you like, including mid campaign.
Installation
Use vortex, and enable the mod in the launcher's mods tab.
Manual install can be done by unzipping the file to your bannerlord's Modules directory.
If the game crashes or can't load the mod, find the file "PopulationControl.dll" and right click -> properties -> click unblock. The file is under bannerlord's install directory in "Modules\PopulationControl\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\PopulationControl.dll"
