Version 1.0.0
Initial Release
Find it off that all the Bandits, Outlaws and other criminals of Calradia get to become some of the best units in the game, while honest, hard working man in the street has to make do with being part of the common rank and file? Ever wondered how Sea Raider, who presumably spend more time on boats than horse back become the shock cavalry of Sturgia, or Vlandia is willing to raise Highwaymen up to the rank of a Knight?
Not any more! with this mod they're restricted to joining the rank-and-file like everyone else.
The Steppe bandit (melee cavalry) now coverts to a melee cavalry unit instead of a horse archer unit The Marauder (missile cavalry) now coverts to a horse archer unit instead of a melee cavalry unit The Forest Bandits units now all convert to new Battanian missile units. Sorry, no more farming them for Fians.
This mods adds new files, therefor the game will crash if you remove it. If you want to to go back to being able to upgrade the bandits as before then you can delete the following file in the mod;
Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\BanditsAreNotNoble\ModuleData\BANN_units.xslt
Make sure you delete the xslt file and not the xml. The 3 new units will still exist in game but upgrade paths will go back to vanilla for the regular bandits.
Update: I've released a replacement xslt file for anyone who still wants to be able to recruit Fians from Forest Bandits.
