These maps are designed to deliver enemy troops in custom battle to you one bot at a time in set intervals of 3, 5, 10, 15, and 30 seconds. I do not recommend the 30s interval unless you absolutely feel you need it as there's a set up time. The map includes weapon spawns to practice with: 1h sword, 2h sword, spear, and axe. Shield only has 1hp.

These maps are designed to deliver enemy troops in custom battle to you one bot at a time in set intervals of 3, 5, 10, 15, and 30 seconds. I do not recommend the 30s interval unless you absolutely feel you need it as there's a set up time which is the time the bots take to line up + the interval x 4. The map includes weapon spawns to practice with: a 1h sword, 2h sword, spear, and axe. A shield is also available, but it only spawns with 1hp. If anyone knows how to get them to spawn with full hp, let me know.
If you find the trainer too easy, definitely get the Realistic Battle Mod AI module to increase the difficulty. If that eventually gets too easy, then you're only really going to get better by playing Multiplayer Duels unless someone releases an even better Combat AI.
I plan on working on a range trainer next, but that is a lot more complicated to do right than the melee trainer. Going to have targets at varying distances of course, but also moving targets, different colors to mark "ally" and "enemy" targets, moving platforms to limit the time the player has to respond to the targets in front of them, etc.
Tested with 1.7.2, should work with 1.8 beta as well
