Just wanted to reach out and say thank-you for this amazing undertaking of a mod. I have been playing Bannerlord since its earliest beta & your historical overhaul has given this game an absolute fresh breath of life.

I have a slightly older rig (Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super/Intel-i7/SSD) and with some MSI Afterburner tweaks combined with Nvidia Control Panel and playing with graphics quality in-game, I am only experiencing mild-moderate loading delays! Which is pretty great considering the extend of this overhaul.
Very much appreciate EOE, I'm about 20 hours in and loving it even with the load time adjustment between quick saving and map loading demands on my PC.
Finally turned it out, and the damn Communist Party suffocated me. The VPN is very good. In Chinese mainland, a YouTube police officer has to come to the door to greet you!

Great mod, loving this especially with the Erik's troops submod.
I just wanted to report though that the city of Juterbog doesn't build or use defensive siege weapons, catapults or anything. Siege attackers also can't target the walls for bombardment, so the attackers just build a battering ram, a siege tower, 4 trebuchets, wait a little bit and then start the assault. There's no real siege bombardment stage on the campaign map. I fought siege defenses at Pilsen and Prague and these work fine, so I think it's just an issue with the Juterbog settlement
I just had this issue again in a siege defense of Leon, but I previously fought 2 regular sieges here. I haven't even restarted the game or anything. I think there must be a bug where sometimes the defensive siege engine build locations don't really spawn and the walls don't load. so the attackers can just build whatever and launch the assault
It's not just the icons, sometimes I get that bug too where they are there but invisible but they will still fire projectiles and you can see the damage dealt and chat messages like "Ballista of city damaged army's onager!" the issue I'm seeing here is that they don't spawn at all and no damage is dealt, so attacker will build everything (usually) and just sit there because their catapults can't even hit the walls to break them. eventually they will start the assault with everything at full hp. no trebuchets or ballistas for siege defenders, but attacker gets their stuff in the actual battle siege map.
EDIT: note that out of like 11 siege battles I've fought I've only seen this happen twice, so it's not super common and may not be easily reproduced. sorry for the headaches, I maintain a mod on a different game and I know how frustrating something like this is <3
out of another like 5 siege battles, 3 worked fine and 2 have no defensive siege weapons again, all at Leon. I reload the game after every battle that's broken, this doesn't fix it as the next siege about 2 minutes after a reboot is also busted. I have no idea what causes this to happen.

for anyone interested, I found a workaround: once siege begins, open console. there's a command like mission.flee_enemies, run this, the attackers leave without losses to either side and their army is intact. they will typically restart the siege. I didn't restart the game between the last time this broke and now, but you can use this to reroll sieges until there are defensive siege weapons on the settlement. I can confirm that this works, rerolling 2 bad sieges in a row once with this console command and upon re-siege the defensive siege engines are all back.
this doesn't work very well. I've re-rolled this same siege like 5 times in a row now, and every time it's not giving siege weapons to the defenders. I'm going to try restarting between rerolls now and see if that helps the chances at all here
yeah it's just consistently broken now. one thing I did notice, is that the walls have a little damage left over from a previous siege that did actually work, when these are breaking every single time over 10+ attempts now. that's the only thing I can speculate /may/ have something to do with this becoming such a problem. at any rate, I'm just going to call this game-breaking at this point and take bannerlord out of my game rotation for awhile. This mod was fun while it lasted and I'll keep an eye on it if this is fixed but it's just not worth my playtime trying to find a way around this when most of my campaign is defensive sieges.
