Thirst and Dehydration
This mod currently adds a party thirst system to mirror the food system in the base game.
New and completely overhauled! The old code was messy, inconsistent, and broken. I ripped it out and rebuilt the mod from scratch and fixed the longstanding bugs such as the widget inconsistency. Performance has also been greatly improved.
Current Features
A thirst system for the player and all mobile parties on the map
A thirst widget next to food that functions similarly
AI parties will buy water just as they do food
Water consumption rate is 25% less than the food consumption rate due to water's availability (may add an MCM in the future)
A new Water Purifier workshop to turn Tools into Water
Thirst Rate depends on current landscape, deserts/dunes increase thirst and rivers/snow/lakes decrease thirst
Please report any bugs, inconsistencies, or unintended behavior. I am aware of the widget being inconsistent on repeated game loads and am looking into it. It works just fine otherwise.
Planned Features
MCM for customizing the mod
Suggestions are welcome!
