Why "Anorit"?
Although it is not a mod on the world of "Lord of the Rings", the name has Tolkien influence. "Anor" means "Sun". For example, the ancient name of Minas Tirith (Fortress of the Guard) is Minas Anor (Fortress of the Sun)
Why this theme?
I'm a big fan of the "Gothic" series of games. You'll find several references to that world. However, there are a lot of influences from many different worlds. And the idea to embody something like that here was inspired by an old and abandoned mod Kingdom of Soleira, which I haven't played, but screenshots of which I quite liked
What are the weapons?
The four two-handed swords got the Ignition effect. You can tell that the swords are coated with a special compound that heats up and flares when it comes into contact with flesh (which is chemically feasible, there's no magic in Calradia). Fire Stones also have this effect, similar to grenades and varying in four levels (from "weak" to "harsh"). Note that mages and pyromancers of the realm don't throw pots attached to their belts, they just safely store fire stones there
What's an Ignition?
A direct hit from such a weapon triggers a burning animation and gives 5 points of blunt damage every second. There's no way to stop it, becauseI don't know how to cancel the burning animation Fire Substance is extremely strong!! However, a hit with a two-handed sword or a direct (not a shrapnel) hit with a grenade leaves little health anyway – the rest is basically just extra special effects
And the new armor?
For the most part, the kingdom is similar in style to Vlandia with elements of other "Western" Calradian cultures (which is explained by the arrival of warriors from the west). However, high-level and elite troops have received armor from the delightful "Bahamut's Armory" mod. You have to install it!

The first time the armor or characters in them need a few seconds to load (for example, when you first open their page in the encyclopedia) – do not panic, this happens only once, cached and after that everything works fine even in huge battles!
How do I get these weapons and armor?
The stones are not sold at the markets (their composition is a sacred secret), but you can find swords and armor on sale from time to time. But the main thing is that you get it all from the king anyway, by becoming his vassal
Are there new troops?
Of course, there are! The kingdom has 6 branches of troop development. These are the foot and horse archer branches (without special effects), the pyromancer skirmisher branch (with fire stones), the assault guards branch (with fire two-handed swords). Elite troops are represented by mounted javelin throwers with fire swords ("paladins") and mounted archers with fire stones ("mages"). And that's not all, there are also female troops of the minor faction and mercenaries
And the kingdom itself?
The kingdom is represented by 9 new clan-orders, differing in appearance and heraldry. In total there are 36 adult lords, the game automatically adds a random number of younger lords and ladies to them
Wait, where are the grown ladies?
This is a military campaign across the ocean. The lords plan to find wives among the local noble houses. But the ladies have also arrived in Calradia, because there is a minor faction!
The female minor faction – Ordo Lilii
"The eldest sister of the anorit king is convinced that the Conquista of Calradia is heresy, a crime against their god, who would be more pleased with peaceful preaching. She has gathered her supporters into a new order of shieldmaidens and is willing to fight for their beliefs, even allying with outsiders against the errant warriors of her people!"
The 9 ladies of this order and their female troops are at war with the main kingdom. They are most likely to come to the aid of whichever side the anorit king declares war. The order's troops are generally similar to the "middle" branches of the kingdom's troops, but have mounted versions of the pyromancers and fire guards
Mercenaries
Female troops can also be found and hired in taverns throughout Calradia, except in the Anorit Kingdom itself (they are at war with each other, you know)
Aren't Anorit armies with such fire weapons too strong?
There is a simple answer: the Anorits have no lances. In big battles this is an important circumstance. A battle of 600 Vlandians vs. 600 Anorits ended in victory for the Anorits, but only 40 of them remained standing on their feet, and the situation could well turn out differently. The cavalry charge is truly scary! And the Anorits do not have it. So they are strong, but not too strong
I can't choose parents for my hero!
There is no choice of character parents' background. This stage is just skipped. Adding it is possible, but it takes more work than it might seem, plus can easily lead to conflicts with other mods. Maybe someday I'll get back to it, but for now I look at it without enthusiasm
I need MORE FIRE! MORE!!
In that case, pay attention to these mods: Perfect Fire Arrows and Fire Lord – Fire Swords, Polearms and Axes. Their functionality is not duplicated here. Together you can get a real fire storm! Don't forget that you can flexibly customize the effects of the "Fire Lord", in particular, to designate only the anorit two-handed swords to burn. Of course, make sure all the mods you use are up to date and working!
