About this mod
This POC config, built for Erik's Troops (Europe1100 submod), adds diversity to your troops shields and banners
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
- Lords have a determinate coat of arms displayed on their shield/banner.
- Noble and professional troops have patterned shields
- Low tier troops have basic solid-coloured shields
Additionnal notes :
- This template works whether you are a commoner, a clan, a vassal or a ruler (existing kingdom or independant kingdom).
- For a more immersive gameplay, colored reticles above troops can be removed : Options / Gameplay / Set "Friendly troops banners" opacity to 0.
- Customizing a POC config following your tastes can be tricky. Feel free to ask for support : Discord
- I’m also open to any suggestion to improve it. So feel free to report if anything looks strange :
- Some shields (other than yours or your companions) displaying your personal coat of arms.
- Some shields or banners whose pattern looks messy, incomplete or inappropriate.
- Some shields (other than yours or your companions) displaying your personal coat of arms.
- But please stop reporting :
- All banners and shields not displaying your personal coat of arms and being randomized.
- Low-tier troops carrying solid-coloured shields.
➔ That’s how it is supposed to work !!! If you don't like it, don't use it.
- All banners and shields not displaying your personal coat of arms and being randomized.
- In its current state, Raise your banner is not fully compatible with this config and will mess banners randomization. However, you can use Carrier mod instead.
- Download here and unzip "PocColor" folder into Modules folder
- Enable "Poc Color Randomizer" in your launcher
