About this mod
Allow Tournament participant qualified for next round if they perform well, and add new betting gameplay which allow you to bet for anyone, even if you're not participating.

I have 4 problems with Bannerlord tournament
- Watch button is practically useless, there is no benefit for watching someone else fight
- Betting is too simple, while it might good for some people who only want the fight, I want the feel of real "Gambling"
- Tournament scoring system is bad, you can running around waiting until last enemy and then fight, you'll still qualified (if team number > 2) even if you lost the fight as long you still alive near end of tournament
- In addition to number 3, if you perform very well, killing several participants but have some bad luck and your team wiped out first. you'll disqualified anyway. this really discourage aggressive gameplay and encourage coward gameplay.
Therefore, I made this mod to address those issues
FEATURES
- Make tournament qualification logic individual (toggleable in MCM).
so no matters if your team win or not, if you perform well, you'll go to next roundSpoiler:Show - Kill Based Scoring System
- everytime you kill participant, you get +10 score.
- if your kill is a headshot you get bonus +10 score. (can be turned off in MCM)
- if you kill with ranged weapon from afar. you get bonus +10 score (can be turned off in MCM)
- ranged kill from horseback require shorter distance to get bonus (can be adjusted in MCM) - Simplify Match. (toggleable in MCM).
- First round will always 16 Participant divided in 4 Teams
- Second round will always 8 Participant divided in 4 Teams
- Third round will always 4 Participant divided in 4 Teams
- Final round will always a duel - Full Fledged Betting System.
You can bet for anyone participating in tournament. You'll need to guess how much score certain participant will get in the end of match. if your guess is correct, you'll get the reward - Various Betting Mode. (need to be turned on from MCM)
to make thing more interesting, I implement various betting mode so you need to strategize where you gonna put your bet. see BETTING MODES section - Betting Tax will goes into Town Coffer. (toggleable from MCM)
Either you win or lose, the tax collected from betting during tournament will become town gold. It's supposed to help boost Town Economy (or even ruin game economy balance lol)
HOW TO PLAY THE BET?
- Join or watch any tournament match. it WILL NOT working if you skip the match
- When match is starting, you'll see this UISpoiler:Show
- Place your bet by clicking (+) button on your desired participant and score. on that picture, I place my bet for everybody in 20 - 29 pts and for myself in 10 - 59 pts. (note : you can put more than 1 bet on same cell)
- Enjoy the match
- After match end, you'll see the bet result UISpoiler:Show
- On that picture, I'm slightly overperform and scoring more than I bet lol. so i don't get bet reward from myself. But in the other hand, I can claim reward for betting 20-29 pts for Imperial Veteran Skoutatoi.
- On that example, Current Betting Mode is "All Score" which means total prize pool will be divided for all participants who scored more than 10 pts. Since there are 8 Participants having 10+ score, the total prize pool is divided to 8.
- Since I'm not the only one who bet 20-20pts for Imperial Veteran Skoutatoi, the reward is further divided by the number of person who put the same bet. in this case I got 1/8 share
- That's it. Rinse and repeat for other match. Happy Betting!
BETTING MODES
By default, only ALL SCORE modes is enabled. this meant for easier betting and to allow learing on how bet system works. If you start to understand how the betting works, you can enable other modes from MCM. Modes will be randomized for every match, so pay attention to betting mode before placing some bets.
- ALL SCORE.
Total Prize Pool will be divided by the number of participants who scored 10+ pts. This will make betting easier, but your share might not as huge as other modes. - QUALIFIED PARTICIPANT.
Total Prize Pool will be divided by the number of qualified participants. number of qualified participants is number of participants divided by 2. so in 16 participants match, number of qualified is 8.Spoiler:Show
note : if you set qualification method as Team in MCM, then qualified participant is all member from 1st and 2nd team winner (vanilla behavior) - BEST OF X
Total Prize Pool will be divided by X, where X is number of top performing participants. in 16 participant match X = 4. 8 participant X = 3, 4 participant X = 2, 2 participant X = 1.Spoiler:Show - WINNING TEAM
