While Realm of Thrones is probably the best available mod for Bannerlord, it lacks a bit of unit variation. This troop mod changes it a little for the faction of Pentos. Which is in the middle of the map. Youre not forced to use them, no changes has been made for original units.
• 2 infantry lines has been added, rank 4-6, each unit has up to 6 equipmentsets. Armour & weapons vary for each rank. In total: 33 Units
-Example : When upgrading from rank 4 to 5 you will get a chance for 1h-shield-throwing or 1h-shield-spear or 1h-shield-spear-throwing etc, the same with Armor. This simulates that each soldier prefers some weapons over others.
• to compensate the lack of weapontypes for some soldiers they get a couple more points
