About this mod
Combat overhaul that improves and caters to every style of play. This mod rewards you for being skilled at commanding your troops and fighting alongside them, rather than punishing you for not being a coward like the native game wants you to be.
GCO also allows you to take on multiple opponents at once

FEATURES
ALL FEATURES ARE CONFIGURABLE !
1. GCO now contains some crash fixes for native - you should experience less crashes when using this mod
2. Added tactical camera feature to order commands (now compatible with Xorbarex's shoulder cam)
3. All units can now have the capability to cleave
4. All units can receive hyperarmor after parrying
5. Horses now slowdown correctly when shot
6. Code improvements and some optimisations
GCO 2.1.0 BRINGS
7. Flinch duration (the stun on a successful melee hit) has been standardised - if you successfully hit a target and he doesn't shrug off the blow due to his armor, he will be stunned for 0.6 seconds. This should prevent targets being able to spam you after you successfully strike them. Previous native flinch calculations were totally random and spaghetti
8. Voice commands will now play one after another rather than just overwriting each other and sounding silly
9. Armor is now significantly more effective vs projectiles
10. Projectiles will always do a minimum amount of damage so they can never be totally useless
11. Neck and headshots still do huge damage
12. Crossbows have 30% armor piercing
13. Horses will rear when headshot with projectiles
14. Horses will slow down when shot
Even after these changes Horse Archers are still extremely powerful due to the poor aim of AI archers, but it's possible for you to punish them now if you successfully direct your archer fire onto them
15. (DISABLED by default) EXPERIMENTAL You can now murder people in villages and towns, it will not actually kill them once you leave though (coming soon)
16. (DISABLED by default) TRUE friendly fire for both you and your enemies
GCO 1.3.0 on Main branch e1.2.0 and below brings
17. Projectiles will only stun you if they hit your head or neck, or do over 40% of your max hp No more being stunlocked by looters throwing literal poo at you
18. Added hyperarmor mechanic - upon you successfully blocking or parrying an attack, you will be unflinchable for 0.8
seconds. This allows you to make plays vs several enemies without being spammed/stunlocked to death.
19. Added 20 base HP on kill, empowered by medicine stat.
20. Added the ability to cleave for hero units. Mounted weapons must already be able to cleave and will do significantly less cleave damage than you would do cleaving on foot. Blunt weapons cannot cleave. This makes fighting several enemies significantly more possible and can empower your individual impact within sieges and battles.
21. Adjusted party surrender logic from being native spaghetti to a calculation based on both parties strength and lead hero roguery stats.
