The mod has no dependencies and can be loaded with the base game; however, the weapons are designed for RBM's weapon balance. The mod is compatible with Calradia at War in that it will override CaW's Throwing Hammer category as long as it is loaded after it.

Started as some minor edits to fix the Calradia at War throwing hammer category which would be visible, but the player would be unable to craft any hammers until eventually looting one from a CaW party. Eventually evolved into expanding the crafting category to progress through the different tiers and provide a variety of options.

I wanted to have my hammers be compatible with using RBM so one thing lead to another and there's now around 13 heads and 9 handles available.

Notes:
  • I wanted to make a throwing machete to amuse myself, unfortunately the blade isn't doing the things I want it to. I've left it in but it looks silly.
  • The damage is slightly overtuned for RBM despite taking the modifiers from RBM weapon heads; most likely an issue with the weight of the weapons and how that translates to kinetic energy. Fixed once I've had more time to test.
  • I attempted to have the ammo be stored in quivers similar to javelins, but I've been unsuccessful so far. The holsters are a bit wonky at the moment.

Installation :

  • Extract the contents of the .7z compressed file to the game's Modules folder, eg. on default steam directory : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\CaWRBMThrowingHammers
  • Load after Calradia at War in order to override its crafting category. For RBM, order shouldn't matter, but I've always loaded it after.

If you are using Serve as Soldier with a mod that uses the Custom Spawns API, eg. Calradia and War, and are experiencing crashes from SaS's random events, use my CS fork to solve the null reference crashes.
