For  game version v1.2.12 (but confirmed to be working on 1.2.8 as well, so it probably works with every version past that)

Overview

Kingdoms of Calradia is a map overhaul adding new castles and towns all around Calradia without contradicting the game lore (kind of? or lets say fanfic kind of thing) Of course Svadia or Vaegirs etc were not around in BL timeline, but you get the idea, the whole lore was retconned. Anyways, the new towns are carefully placed and kept at a minimum so as not to ruin the already pretty unbalanced game economy, the new villages will affect the supply-demand chain though. The factions are divided into two (non lore friendly aspect), except the imperial factions to create more varied gameplay without changing the faction cultures. This creates a different gameplay mechanic by making similar factions fight each other using the same troop trees. New clans along with new mercenary clans with their own troops are also added to keep the game balance as it is.

Banners
Some Vlandian banners are replaced with more fitting banner sigils inspired by the Norman sigils and icons we see on the Bayeux tapestry. And those sigils are available for players to use. Also changed Western Empire's colors slightly because it was confusing against Vlandia.

World changes

Two new bridges were added to connect the 2 islands to the mainland, Perassus now sits on the island at the center of the Perassic sea and Ayn Assuadi sits near the Lys straight.

The newly added castles and towns get their placements and names from Mount and Blade Warband, and the cut settlements we see in Bannerlord 2016 map. So nothing is randomly named or placed but of course, since Warband's map is pretty much different, I followed TW's footsteps and stretched the map to fit into Bannerlord, taking BL as the canon map.

Mercenary Clans
New mercenary clans are available to hire with unique backstories.

Reworked NPC appearances

Npc appearances are tweaked to make them fit into their racial traits.

What is the difference between CE and KoC?

KoC does not have sea travel and does not have as many new towns, but in turn, it is lightweight, does not lag, is more stable, and more lore-friendly as it doesn't shuffle the existing places around. And I wanted to have a map which I can maintain myself in the long run and make changes where I see fit, instead of relying on other modders to fix CE.

Compatibility

Obviously, not compatible with mods that change the world map.
