Mod that makes crossbows more powerful and gives bolts/quarrels more ammo.
Long time ago I created More Bolts and Better Crossbows. But for long time I don't decided to merge these mods into one mod. But today I decided to merge these mods into one mod and changing some stuff from these mods for distinctions.
So most of Bannerlord players probably knows a Crossbows are far less superior weapons comparing to Bows. Even bolts/quarrels have much lower ammo stack comparing to arrows. So I decided to buff crossbows and give more ammo to bolts/quarrels. Also I changed prices to all crossbows,bolts and quarrels.
During development of this mod I was inspired by this mod:
Fixed Crossbows and Bolts
Crossbows part:
Simple Light Crossbow:
+5% damage buff
+10% reloading speed buff
i decided slightly buff Simple Light Crossbow to make most basic crossbow pretty decent weapon with decent damage and good reloading speed.
Light Crossbow:
+20% damage buff
+10% reloading speed buff
Light Crossbow got big damage buff to make this crossbow a good choice to use on horse. And got reloading speed buff.
Fine Light Crossbow:
+20% damage buff
+10% reloading speed buff
Name of this weapon can suggest you have best variant of Light Crossbow on your hands. Fine Light Crossbow got same buffs like a Light Crossbow that was mentioned earlier.
Heavy Crossbow:
+25% damage buff
-5% reloading speed debuff
I decided to give a Heavy Crossbow 25% damage buff to make this crossbow a good weapon on ground but in cost nerfing reloading speed by 5%.
Arbalest:
+40% damage buff
-15% reloading speed debuff
With Arbalest I decided to give a huge buff in damage by 40% to make this weapon very deadly in ground. Also Arbalest got high nerf in reloading speed to prevent this weapon too powerful. And I counted Arbalest in heavy crossbows category.
Hickory Crossbow:
+30% damage buff
+10% reloading speed buff
Hickory Crossbow got 30% damage buff and 10% speed reloading buff to make this crossbow much better weapon to use.
Bound Crossbow:
+30% damage buff
+10% reloading speed buff
Most powerful crossbow in game and in entire Calradia continent got also 30% damage buff and 10% speed reloading buff to make Bound Crossbow even more powerful than before.
Bolts/Quarrels part:
Light Quarrels/Bolts:
I decided to buff ammo count from 18/20 to 28
Heavy Quarrels/Bolts:
I decided to buff ammo count from 18 to 26
Bolts:
I decided to buff ammo count from 18 to 28
Also If you dont like my values you can tweak them by using notepad++
