The mod remains true to its core—the pursuit system has been meticulously overhauled, making police chases more intense and challenging than ever. Police cars are significantly faster, tougher, and more difficult to outmaneuver. Now with 10 heat levels in total, players will be kept on their feet by the droves of Lakeshore PD and High Speed task force officers itching to shut you down! The Crown Victoria and Swat Truck make a return from Heat.
In addition, the mod now enhances other factors of the game. Every visual environment has undergone a stunning transformation with overhauled skyboxes and shaders, enhancing the TOD visuals, as well as new environmental textures, including updated checkpoints, lens flares, billboards, and garage details. Many vehicles now feature enhanced audio, with a mix of fresh samples and audio from titles like MW2012 and HP2010 and louder forced induction to boot.
AI behavior has been ramped up, making both police and rival racers more aggressive. New single-player races have been introduced, including exclusive multiplayer races such as link ups and those in certain playlists are now accessible in solo mode. Characters Tess, Rydell, and Racer X join the Lakeshore racing roster, now appearing in various S+ events.
Previously hidden and unused customization such as body kits and other items are now purchasable, in addition to multiplayer-only items like drift pro tires for a richer personalization experience. DLC cars from all previous volumes are now available in the dealership, and the range of engine swaps has been broadened.
