About this mod
Awesome items - Blue Dragon's Gift (cloak) and Wolf (dagger)
Adds a module with overpowered items.
- Permissions and credits
I've decided to reinstall Neverwinter Nights and I came across an old file that might be interesting.
The module itself is just a place to acquire the items and provides no additional interaction.
Therefore, I thought it might be better to place it under the "Miscellaneous" category than "Modules" as it does not provide additional interaction unlike most mods in the latter category.
For the Diamond and other older editions of the game:
To install download the archive, extract it and copy the "TRENING 1" file in: your game folder > "modules" folder (some versions of the game may shorten "modules" to "mod" as the name of the folder).
Edit: The Enchanted Edition of NWN1 WILL look for module files in the Documents folder.
My install path therefore looks like this: "C:\Users\Wolfy\Documents\Neverwinter Nights\modules".
To use the items in the module, load the module, grab the items (you can also equip them), export your character and use the exported character in your game (the official campaigns or other modules).
Precise instructions:
Run the game, select "New game", "other modules".
Look for "TRENING 1" and click load.
Create a new character and click play.
Once you're in the game, pick up the items, press the Esc key and click "export character".
Now when starting the official game or a mod, look for an existing character with an identical name to the one you created except with "(1)" added.
You'll have your character in the game with the items from my mod.
You might be wondering about the name of the file.
Well, it's the Slovenian word for "training" in English except it's a noun. It is a noun denoting training of any kind and is not limited to physical exercise.
E.g. If you want to "train" in mathematics, you'll do exercises with calculations. The "1" in the name denotes that it is meant for NWN 1.
I created it ages ago when I had an obsession with capital letters and honestly, I'm too lazy to rename it. :P
It should be easy to locate with a plain yet unique name. ;)
Now that the linguistics are covered, here are the descriptions of the items.

Both items should be non-droppable and identified and will only have their effects if they are worn (the cloak) or used (the dagger).
Note:
I've noticed some mods tend to wipe your inventory when you load them with your character.
As a workaround, you can export and import items from this mod into an area in the mod you want to play.
I've added the erf files of the items in the folder "Awesome items - erf files".
Items inside the folder:
- Wolf -> weapon, works
- Item 1 -> cloak (Blue Dragon's Gift), refuses to work
- Fun -> cloak, works
"Fun" is almost a replica of "Blue Dragon's Gift", except that it actually works with the export and import options.
To use these files, download the archive, extract it and move the files into your "erf" folder (usually found in My documents > Neverwinter Nights > erf), open the toolset and the module you want to add the items into.
Once it loads, select "import" from the menu and place the items on the area map (I'd recommend somewhere near the starting point).
The items "Fun" and "Wolf" should be listed under items > custom > training.
