Thank you all :-) @Xaranth & Brigand: Yeah. It's not as if he hasn't got enough to do already! But there are some things that might make him put his original plan on hold in order to sort out something else. @Jamdon & Angrod: So true. It seems to me that McNamara and Papa Khan are both so stuck in tradition that they seem almost impossible to move :-( @Jim: Yes indeed. Just a pity I could not pull the same trick as Cormell and give him as a gift to Melissa :-)
The faction leaders are proving to be more stubborn that what Garrett feared. This shows a great deal about him; a lesser man *cough*NCR*cough* would just flex his muscles, talk about the howitzers and the bomber and call it a day.
Lets see if Garrett can keep his allies, as trying to appeal to what they want and letting them have their own autonomy but still willing to follow his lead is quite a task.

Karl got better than he deserved, and Garrett at least has Papa Khan thinking.
Poor Cass, her caravan was collateral damage from the wicked plotting of greedy people.
Damn good read, and I like how Garrett call Cass "Rose", a nice touch.
Cheers
