About this image
Well I'm right at the edge of completion but I cant for the life of me get the mesh to export properly. No matter what I do, after I export from blender and try to get the mesh going in Nifskope and I almost always get the same error:
"need vertices, normals, texture coordinates and faces to calculate tangents and bitangents"
If I don't get that, my UV maps are set to zero.
Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Are the Materials set to use UV instead of orco?
What settings are you using to export (depending on what kind of item it is to be says which boxes need to be ticked)
If you send me a Blend file i can take a look at it for you and see if i can see what is wrong.... i am a visual learner and have no idea what the various errors that i get in that program are lol But i have been able to export many a different types of objects before and don't remember crossing that particular error
EDIT: BTW that looks awesome
Here is the version I brought down to 2.49 to import.
I would appreciate any help you could give me but please don't feel obligated; I've stressed out about this enough for the both of us
Thanks BTW
I'm hitting the hay anyway, so I'm in no rush
Thanks again for all your help!
No worries but i already got it ready for ya XD
Found the problem as soon as i brought it in. You had all the materials set but you hadn't assigned any textures. In order for it to be exported as a Nif the Materials need to be set to "reflect" something. I included some images on how to set them, just PM me if you want to go more indepth on it or have any questions The Blend i am sending back should be set to go to export it.
