The stock looks fine for a scrap weapon, IMHO. What looks odd to me is the really short barrel. Even a sawed off shotgun typically has a barrel that's two or three times that length. I own pistols with longer barrels than that thing has.
Shorter barrels have a larger spread and also are weaker as the powder doesn't get a chance to burn completely before it runs out of barrel length. The wide spread and low velocity of the rounds coming out of it are going to make this thing almost worthless at any distance.
Your typical sawed off shotgun is going to have a barrel somewhere in the neighborhood of around 14 to 18 inches. A hunting shotgun will have a barrel more in the range of 26 to 30 inches. Yours looks to be somewhere around 5 inches.

Like... strap on a nuka cola glass bottle as mid-range scope? (you look through the bottom)
Use a lead pipe as a choke (to reduce spread)
Maybe even wrap gecko hide or smth on it to increase durability at the cost of increased weight.
Just thinking WMKs always make guns more appealing.
