I'm finishing putting the textures in the proper place for the new weapon pack. However, I have to ask, should I keep the ACOG on this SG 552 or swap it for an EOTech I just made?

    just do two versions one locked to semi auto with the magnified scope, increased accuracy and dam ant the other with the red dot locked to full auto with less dam....or depends on the other mods, keep the suppressor, but if the base mag cap is 20, just do 30 and have both both scopes as the other 2 slots


    another idea not specific to this gun, but have you heard of a magnifier? as in a flip to side monocular mounted behind the main optic?

    i have an ar with the base model having an eotech, with the magnifier flipped to the side, and the optic mod for the gun has that magnifier flipped in front of the eotech and the aim set to the black background/zoom screen reticle.

    between that and the realtime modding system you can "switch" back and forth between zoomed and not zoomed (or what the game sees as iron sights and scope mod)

    ACOG is fixed magnification optic (3x usually some go higher), while EoTech is like a Red Dot sight with no magnification with unlimited eye relief (distance the eye must be from optic).

    Both are good for CQB (close quarters battle) being that 3X-5X magnification isn't that much to cause problems for close range shooting. ACOG has the extra range advantage over the EoTech though.

    The ACOG gives it a much more classical style in my point of view. You know like the classic FPS game Counter Strike. Other than that, the EOTech looks pretty neat. I'd probably throw it onto another gun though.
