So I decided to start work on that armor I made a while back. The original model had Merc Grunt boots that I recolored and edited slightly to resemble Vietnam era combat boots. Just the other day I noticed that the Legion wears what seem to be combat boots but I'm not sure about their overall shape. Should I keep the original (on the left) or upgrade to the Legion boots (on the right)?

    Shoe strings give it some UMPH, but the full black give a sleek military look.

    I like the shoestrings on the left. I think it is more fitting but I get that either could be ok. I am just partial to the left.

    Honestly I'd go for the original ones. They do look more military ready.

    In my mind it would depend on how the outfit would be acquired. If from a Legion-friendly source, the Legion boots would make sense. Otherwise, the Merc Grunt boots might be more readily available to folks. Just the way my mind works.

    ...and thanks a lot for reminding me I have at least a dozen armors I need to package and document and post. I might just get around to it or maybe not.
