Here's a new mod i'm working on that adds a new species of Radscorpion called Dumpling Scorpions. These are not just going to be a boring reskin of radscorpion, I plan on doing a lot more with them to make them actually fit the Mojave and have their own unique place
Where will you find them? They typically live in fertile areas where they can harvest and manipulate plant growth (because they are mostly herbivores besides the occasional rodent) and will build nests out of either dead brush or use live plants in their nests. They live in small pockets and you will almost always find them near these nests.
What is their purpose?Dumpling Scorpions have four death items so far that can be used to make various recipes such as Wasteland Dumpling Soup. They're drop items are also somewhat valuable as they are delicacy throughout the Mojave. And the biggest purpose of all? Maybe you'll like having a new creature that has lore built around it to fit the Mojave.
Friendly Scorps. Did I mention thee little guys are also friendly, so if you decide not to harvest these non-venomous cuties then you can come back later too.
The death items on dumplings are Dumpling juices, chunks, stingers, and eggs and I plan on having at least two recipes for them.

I suppose they are called 'dumpling' because of the colour?
They are friendly? I hope you can make some kind of incentive to not kill them - since their loot items are valuable.
Hmmm, maybe you can 'milk' them? Ew.
Or maybe they collect shiny things (caps, bullets, chems etc.) in their nests and will let you loot them if you are friendly too.
And the best alternative I can find so you don't have to kill these lovelys is to add the other drops to the egg clutches, so i'll probably do that now so you can be friendly with them and milking their stingers would be cool, but that would require some script work and i'm not ready for that task
And yeah they're called dumplings because of their color and my attempt to make them cute lol, since you seem really interested in this mod i'll message you when it's released
