This is a promotional poster for a slot machine that features reels of games that once were hot and now are not. They would be considered Dead Games as no one any longer plays them.

This poster is pulled from a mod I created a couple of years back as a personal project.

It amazes me that all the slot machines have the same Icons on the slot reels. I searched and no mod author has created and released either. I find this crazy based on a game that has casinos and betting as one of it's core items. Well I made a slot machine a couple of years back that features reels of dead video game characters. I was originally going to make a few, but life has its ways. I figured someone would come out with some variations but apparently not.

    A lot of people still play this game. Heck It has people who play it on console still and haven't seen the righteous path of modding away all the bugs, and adding new content to keep it fresh and mo' better. The frequency of mods created/updated doesn't match the amount of people still playing not that it's an astronomical gap but it's fairly sizeable considering how old the game is.

      That's good to know. I just happened to fire up the game the other day and happened to have this mod loaded. I checked and was really surprised no one had made various slot machines. It seemed fitting and kind of funny to ask if this game was dead taking the nature of the mod into consideration.
