About this image

Still a WIP. Need to fix the body paint on her legs and add some to her neck so it all blends. The face texture is meant for a male head mesh so her nose is wonky. The sleeves/ arm wraps are meant for a different body mesh so they don't fit right and need to be adjusted. She still needs a bunch of bone, feather, and fur trinkets/fetishes to really give her that "shaman" look.

EDIT: Of course, as soon as I post this, I find a pair of "sleeves" that work better. Not perfectly but better.

Honestly, one of the defining features of a tribal priestess I have in my imagery is an abundance of semi-precious stone necklaces and bracelets, as often in that type of societies, priests are regarded as sages and get covered in riches in exchange for their services. In this case, we could imagine a small bones necklace, or something like that.

Agreed. An abundance of simple, crude, jewelry and trinkets made from semi-precious stones, small bones, feathers, tufts of hair, etc. Sadly, my Blender-fu is non-existent so I'll either have to track down a bunch of stuff that someone else has made or wait until I learn to make it myself.

I assumed as well and was kinda sad to admit that I couldn't help. I hope that these ideas will not die off and that some day, I may come back to this with more time and knowledge to make something out of this, or, you might, for that matter.

Honestly, I'm not really sure how this outfit would fit into the vanilla game. It's not really something someone would want to be wearing in a gunfight. Viper Leaders and Gunslingers tend to wear leather, reinforced leather, or metal armor. This is more something a non-combatant NPC or quest-giver would wear. Other than Sylvia Semi from "New California", I don't think there actually is a Snake Priestess character in FNV.

C'mon, man any of the outfits in the Honest Hearts DLC wouldn't "fit" within the vanilla game. And yet, they're around, providing background for the most powerful factions of that DLC. Doesn't mean that players are not fond of seeing tribal outfits, mostly feels like mercenary "armors" are over-armored and wasteland outfits are under-armored. Pretty sure a healthy balance could be struck provided there be sort of an "armor class" system based on the type of damage.

This is just supposed to be a priestess. As for the rest of the Vipers....

What were you expecting a semi-primitive snake cult priestess to look like? This aint Disney, bud.

I was hoping to make her look really creepy but that's hard to do with just nifskope :\

The face and body paint is intended to be worn by all of (my version of) the Vipers so I need to come up with something other than the skimpy outfit to distinguish her from the rest of them. Hair isn't an option because they're all going to be bald.... snakes don't have hair

      I'm babbling.... Sorry.
