I've been looking for armor mods on the nexus. If you have any favorites you'd like to share, plz do. This one is Elder Maxson Battlecoat. I'm just using it as a U.S army General outfit retexture.

It is simple, it is cool, it's stats are pretty good, even though I did modify some effects into it! And most importantly, it looks like something the Courier would wear! It is middle of the road between looking rugged and practical, and at the same time cool as f***.....with an added bonus of most likely making people hesitant of toward messing with you, because of the overall biker gang look to it!
Really the vault suit and even the pipboy as a starter item is a pretty lazy choice for New Vegas! Seeing as most likely the Courier is as far as one could get from a vault dweller! The dude appears to have spent most of his life running around in the open.
