Powered by the neighboring hydro-cooled Nuclear Power Plant, The Yard is the main hub for regional maize aggregation. The maize at the Yard is then converted to vegetable oils, Ethanol, and Biodiesel which the town sells to passing caravans whose vehicles run on such fuels. Recent events however have caused The Yard and neighboring power plant to fall into the hands of the 80s tribe who threaten to release the toxic waters that cool the plant into the ground, poisoning Alamo's water supply. The former owners of the Yard have now been enslaved by the 80s and are forced to labor the maize fields for the raiders to collect.
