      Before making this type of comment, perhaps you should do a bit of research.  Dreads have been a thing with various cultures around the world since the ancient Minoans.  Anox is Native American and even a quick search shows pre-1900 images of various NA tribal members wearing, not braids, but dreads.  And yeah, there are still white guys wearing dreads, primarily among the younger, "hipster" crowd.  I don't particular care for the look myself, but if folks want to wear them, fine by me.
