About this image

More texturing items (up to 75 ready to go) these are shown in nifskope but will look better (hopefully) in game. Note: the milk bottle will use whatever textures the user has for it already.

-Trifle (I might improve on this)
-Bread Wheel
-Ground Molerat (a Fallout 4 item remade for FNV)
-Brahmin Milk
-Sweetbun (Mutfruit)
-Sweetbun
-Gecko Garum (planned to be purchased from legion connected merchants)

My textures aren't great i'm well aware and they're in 1k (for this game, I normally do 2k but that'll be a bit much with so many) but it's still something I am trying to make them as best I can, if the mod isn't for you or the textures/meshes just don't seem quality enough you don't have to try the mod but I hope it's clear how much love and time I am putting into this mod :)

A variety of meals and beverages are planned from longer shelf life travel foods, Chinese, Jewish, Mexican and Native American and ancient Roman recipes used by Caesar's Legion as I feel those cultures could still exist in postwar America even cook books with their recipes  (like the Shi, tribals, travelling caravans and NCR could pass on many of their recipes) I want to do right by these cultures that these foods belong to but at the same time in a post apocalypse setting some of the recipes could have been changed to work with available ingredients or mistakes made by those who now use them but if any of the things I make are extremely incorrect to the point they're offensive to the cultures they're adapted from let me know kindly and i'll do what I can to make it right, If there are foods you think should be in this mod let me know and I might be able to add them (if I feel they fit and can do them with my current level of skill that is) :)

    Sticky
Took awhile on this one, I've had a lot going on as well as actually testing the items, making changes to several meshes/textures and also just playing FNV (and Wildermyth)

Undecided on weather to make the milk purchasable or a workbench sort of thing (well a milk bucket by brahmin) that you can use an empty milk bottle and five caps to get a full bottle

Below is what I have planned for the Legion foods for those interested but that will likely change depending on what meshes/textures I complete and weather it ends up fitting the Legion, some are historical recipes adapted (legion could've learn form old books, holotapes etc) others are recipes absorbed from the tribes/regions conquered. I will add/remove as I go. I plan to do an NCR set as well and possibly a Great Khans set.

Open to polite suggestions for what to add/change :)

You don't need to write in the description that your textures aren't perfect in some way. They are good and very much on par with the good textures of the base game. Plus the lighting and normal maps (if they're okay) in the game will create additional visual qualities to the objects.
Great work and looking forward to progress.

I still feel they're not great myself and I feel I need to say it both for others sake and to remind myself I am still learning though I will admit in many instances they on level/slightly better than vanilla but that tends be because vanilla is lower res most cases.

      Thanks :)

I cannot properly express my excitement! I don't know why food in New Vegas excites me the most (might be a culture thing, I wish things like food and art were more developed for NCR and Legion, but I guess we have Fallout 2 for NCR) but amazing work!!

I feel the same way... might be why most of the mods I do that I get the most enjoyment from doing are food mods and Fallout New Vegas offers up so many possibilities on what could be added :D

Holding off on a new playthrough for this and a couple other mods. I wanna play a foraging survivalist cowboy who made money as a camp/caravan cook.

I am unnecessarily overhyped for this food mod.

Might be awhile as i've still got a fair chunk to add to it make your new playthroughs now (if the other mods are all ready out for it) so you don't miss out on playing and try this for another playthrough :) i'm really happy to hear you're excited to play this plan on doing the same sort of playthrough too when i'm done :D
