About this image

More texturing items (up to 85 ready to go) these are shown in nifskope but will look better (hopefully) in game.

-Soup (Apple Potato)
-Soup (Carrot Tomato)
-Grilled Cheese (we call em cheese toasties here and i'm trying not to call them that)
-Tomato Juice
-Black Soup (doesn't get the same naming style as the others like Iguana Soup but I might change this)
-Soup (Carrot)
-Tomato Toast
-Posca (slight seam visible there with the pattern as I couldn't see the result until it was on the mesh and it got tiring bouncing backwards and forwards trying to guess what it might look like)

My textures aren't great i'm well aware and they're in 1k (for this game, I normally do 2k but that'll be a bit much with so many) but it's still something I am trying to make them as best I can, if the mod isn't for you or the textures/meshes just don't seem quality enough you don't have to try the mod but I hope it's clear how much love and time I am putting into this mod :)

A variety of meals and beverages are planned from longer shelf life travel foods, Chinese, Jewish, Mexican and Native American and ancient Roman recipes used by Caesar's Legion as I feel those cultures could still exist in postwar America even cook books with their recipes  (like the Shi, tribals, travelling caravans and NCR could pass on many of their recipes) I want to do right by these cultures that these foods belong to but at the same time in a post apocalypse setting some of the recipes could have been changed to work with available ingredients or mistakes made by those who now use them but if any of the things I make are extremely incorrect to the point they're offensive to the cultures they're adapted from let me know kindly and i'll do what I can to make it right, If there are foods you think should be in this mod let me know and I might be able to add them (if I feel they fit and can do them with my current level of skill that is) :)

    Sticky
I tend to work on them at random rather than going down my list in order, I mentioned my legion set and a few other themed sets but i'll keep doing bits and pieces of them here and there rather than full set in one go, for anyone hoping to see specific foods next even I don't know what one i'll work on next :D

This may be one of my most anticipated mods, I really love all the work that you're putting into this. I think Bethesda's take on consumables in modern Fallout is really boring. I mean, I get it. Its a wasteland and most people would cook some pretty awful food just for the sustenance, but its also been 200 years since the apocalypse. That's plenty of time for food culture to evolve so there would definitely be forms of cuisine by then. I'm really digging the Roman inspired foods especially, you really seem to know your stuff.

Also, where the hell do you live where they call grilled cheese cheese toasties? lmao

Thanks, yeah I thought that too there's so many possibilities for foods and we get things most of the time that are just charred hunks of meat I get survival some of it would be that but there should be more actual recipes surely more than few people want actual decent tasting food.

I've grown up poor for the most part and have been taught to get creative with what we have to make nice meals I figure a post apocalyptic setting would have that as the way for most. I don't know all that much myself but i'm researching it with the help of some others here and in other places to see what we could come up with.

New Zealand, maybe grilled cheese is starting to take hold with the younger folk but my gen and those before mine afaik call them cheese toasties or least those i've met all have :D

You know, if you added a little more color to the top of the Black Soup (some shredded cheddar, onions, kidney beans or cilantro) , It could pass as a Chilli Con Carne. Might fit the setting better, but still I love your work here. Thanks for giving New Vegas some more textures! Your Skyrim Textures are very nice too!

Have a recipe planned for chilli con carne too, the black soup is something specific for the legion and is a historical real world recipe that suits them :)

      Thanks :D

Hehe they're actually a bit of an easter egg (several of these specific items shown here) from a Skyrim mod of mine redone for FNV
