Upon my travels Through the wastes
I have encountered much irradiation.
But nothing compares to a town in the desert
an out post, a camp, an NCR station.

It was dark when I arrived, a desert night,
cool, quite save for the odd coyote
Until I saw an eerie green light,
solitary in the dark, oh so lonely.

With my companions I set out to observe,
until we met with an NCR Soldier.
"The way is dangerous, this is where I serve,
warning others of the perils of the town."

Understanding the dangers we kept going
Curious of the towns condition,
to find what was causing the glowing,
and the cause of the town's situation.

Upon breaking the crest of a hill
my companions and I saw that all was not well,
the soldiers turned into ghouls,
a glowing, green, irradiated hell.
