I had this idea for an acid-shooting gun that would melt people with some nasty gorey effects. Haven't made the gun itself aside from a bare-bones test version that's basically just a retooled 10mm pistol, but I mainly wanted to create the actual melting effect first, since I had more experience with that sort of thing.

This here's the end result of some Nif-bashing I did in Blender. I took the basic skeleton model and attached a bunch of the gorey gib models on it, then stretched and reshaped them to my liking. Then I recolored the skeleton to a sickly yellow with some bloody red splotches. It's not perfect, I know- the colors are alright, but it's not as wet and slimy-looking as I wanted it to be, and the way the lighting affects it as a whole just looks odd- most of the body seems duller and darker than it should be in daylight, whereas the hands are lit up to the point where they almost seem to glow. Will definitely need more adjustments in the future.

Ideally I want to make a couple more models like this with adjustments to how gorey they look so they all don't just look the same, but one thing at a time.
