For half a second my eyes read "...`careful is my maiden name' and I was going to strongly argue for use of the past tense.

Just a quick question, why to the androids wear clothes?
It's not like they need clothes or armor for protection, nor do they need clothes for temperature regulation.

      Hmmmā€¦ good question!
I would say good old-fashioned American Puritanism, since the ARES lore says that model was a sexbot repurposed into a combat role- and therefore has all of the ā€˜equipmentā€™ necessary for the original role.
Iā€™ve actually thought about this (thereā€™s lots of mundane work putting a comic together, and time to think) but I think in a world of limited resources it would make sense to protect the droidā€™s surfaces from abrasion and the elements and whatnot, since thereā€™s no opportunity to swap out ā€˜skins.ā€™

      Two things:
      1.  A bot programmed by humans to act human and relate to humans would be programmed to mimic human habits.
      2.  (I imagine Captain Jack Sparrow making this comment) Often hiding something makes it more desirable to the one whom that thing is hidden from.  This is why lingerie is so popular.

Tribute -- sounds much more honorable, more noble than taxes or what it really is, namely a skakedown for protection money. Yes, I pay  my taxes  uh, tribute to the Feds so they will protect our borders and keep us safe. I was at the Tucson A/P last week and saw all the "visitors" there. Yeah, looks like my protection money done got shook down.

    Really digging Lucy's corset.

You will pay us, and we'll leave you alone   It's the price you pay for being a productive citizen... :/

Yeah, the corset -  VaanKnight makes amazing stuff...

      Thanks for stopping in, Laird!

Or not............! Vanessa Gaudmnit.... That last picture had me in a fit of laughter. Who could only be a fly on the wall.......  Well - this was serious. In more than one way. The Thorn..... the bullfights..... cockfights...... whatever. I'm certainly with Willow. I take no pleasure from witnessing slaughter - of any kind. And most certainly not slaughter as "entertainment". No matter what - or who- is slaughtered. But it DOES make sense that the new "government" wants to benefit from it. At least that way they can keep an eye on it. Instead of having to cope with some kind of illegal arena. Because there is - unfortunately - no doubt that such kind of "business" WILL exist. No matter if it's outlawed or not. As long as there are customers........
I'm just wondering.... wouldn't the Legion just put up a sign: "Under new management........"

ha! Vanessa is a wild one in the mod itself, so I just go with it

No, not really any place in civilization for dogfighting.  This is humanity crawling out of a nuclear apocalypse, so some circuses will have to go along with the bread - and with previous 200 years without any sort of law, i figure brutality is ingrained in the culture.

Yeah, Willow was only telling half the truth, but surely the Legion would've made Red Lucy some centurion's plaything, after put him in charge of the arena...

      Thanks, Bernt- love your commentary.

I think youā€™re usually on the Skyrim side - things the Skyrim crowd are able to create are amazing, really.  Us New Vegas types are stuck banging bottlecaps together  šŸ˜„ I will say the modding community over here has made mind-bending improvements to this old gameā€¦

Hey, Karna- good to see you back on here!
No, this wonā€™t be my last episode inflicted upon the imageshare. I worked ahead a few episodes before I uninstalled my game, in order to reinstall with Tale of Two Wastelands. Once I get it up and running, the Seven will be back
My old game was a mishmash of 600+ mods that I had slapped on over the space of a few years, so piecing it back together is a bit of a challengeā€¦

Oh my gosh reinstalling 600 mods is sooooooooooo hard *Laughs* I did that last year when I had to switch hard drives. You have my sympathy times a thousand! Good luck! And I'm glad to hear you're continuing. I really love your sets.
