It sure was. Took some getpos/setpos to get Garrett into his seat. But apart from that it was easy. The plane comes with the pose. Makes it easy Thank you very much Brigand

Nice set. Was a lot of fun and I would bet a Buck that Willow enjoyed calling you a Desk Jockey. If you try hard enough, you can fly it

Thanks a lot OLBM Not Willow. And - for once- not me. Garrett talking about that photographer apaprently not knowing a P-80 from an F-15

It's not misaligned, it's parked, that would be my excuse.

    These are fantastic!

Also, not so sure the way it's aiming when parked is a big deal, is it? Don't they move into position when it's time to go? :)

Thank you very much Karna Yes - they DO move into position before take-off. And no outside passengers

Great set, nicely posed. Looks like a P-80/F-80. Willow in that pose should be the painting on the nose of that bird. Hmm, must be a name for that -- like figure head on a sailing ship.

I remember watching some of them land in the '50s at the Air Force base in town. They used to pop a drag chute to slow them down on the runway. I flew in the front seat of one of these once during basic training. A modified F-80.

Thanks a lot Laird I think it's merely called "nose art". A lot of good stuff during WWII. Still a bit of it around. Though not as raunchy as before. I'm sure this is supposed to be a P-80/F-80. The first jet of the US Airforce. And -as you say - developed into the venerable Thunderbird The T-33. We've got a few of them even in Denmark. In a museum and as gate guards It must have been quite an experience. All depending on your stomach and the mood of the pilot of course
