About this image

This is weapon three of three for Jacobstown center a upcoming mod I am working on a it is a reworking of the dead money automatic rifle (m1918 BAR) it has been shortened to a more realistic and in line with the real bar. I have created a 30¬_06 round for, in std. hollow point and armor piercing, which is what the bar uses it can be modded with a extra clip (25 rounds) a scope and a silencer. Were ever you find 308 rounds you will find 30_06 rounds as well.

I have given this image my endorsement.

They are looking good and you've certainly given them a good deal of careful attention. Unlike so many others they will probably work flawlessly.

To bad I don't have that dlc.

    hector530 thanks for the endorsement

As for CaliberX I too used it in FO3 but the mod for FNV is no longer being maintained by the author and you have to down load the main file, a update and optional file to clean out unused and duplicated ammo, then from another author you have to down load a patch/update to make it work with the game patch 1.3. This is far too complicated for most mod users that don’t mod and a pain in the a** for me
What I did was start with the 308 round and just renamed it to 30_06 made a new ammo list to cover std., hollow point and armor piercing then took the base 308 projectile and up the stats a little to reflect the 30_06. Which is much more devastating round than the 308. I did not add anything special to the name like 00, 01 or my initials if all mod authors were to do it same way there would be no conflict

I really like this idea, but have you thought of using CaliberX (or whatever it's called) to give the .30-06 rounds? Because they're included in there.
