I found that the assault carbine was a POS so I just decided to make a better variation in 7.62 by lengthening the action/Magazine, barrel/Fore stock and making it more accurate but with a higher minimum spread. I found that the max spread of the assault carbine was way too inaccurate for a military rifle.

I use the latest patched version of fallout as well as the latest version of the geck so I would imagine that in order for the mod to work you will also need the latest patch.

Sorry about the darkness but nifskope seems to render background in black and with the black rifle it makes it difficult to see.
Thing about that is that I am making an assault rifle not an assault carbine since there is already one in the game.
As far as grenade launchers go, I once made a very basic script that I used to get the grenade launchers in my stalker weapons mod to work but I did not like the script since GL models would pile up in the inventory since it was such a simple script so I scrapped it until I can figure out a better way of doing that.
Edit: After looking up scoped M16 rifles I have noticed that they mount the scope to the carry handle so I will make a model like that and see how it looks.
Since it uses a relatively small mag I will add extended mags as one weapon mod.
I do have a silenced model I was using for Old World Blues so that may become the second weapon mod.
I am not sure wha to use for a third though.
