@MrRadioactiv yes as Wernre said it is blender v. 2.49b
Thank you all for the feedback.. this has been quite the process trying to learn lol hard but worth it..I took your advice Werne and played with set smooth and such and it worked quite nicely. here is a updated version, its better in my opinon granted textures arent my strong point hah.. updated gun
sorrry for the wierd angle.. it is longer then it appears.. the black sights and everything are black metal but idk how to lighten it up, just photoshop edit it id assume?
also, does anyone know how to make these? instead of me making one obj. with with one hi res texture for each individual little peice, add all the images together for the whole object? This
@MrRadioactiv It's Blender 2.49 I'd say, it's the best version for working with .nif models.
The gun loks nice, but if you mean to finish it you'll need to set the smooth shading by pressing Set Smooth under Editing (F9) in the buttons window. That will make it look nice and smooth and remove the seams that can be seen in the pic. I prefer to keep it solid untill I finish working on it and finally set it smooth, it's easier to work that way.
my first gun was real .s....your one is real good for the first time, great jop
tip: if you would like to make good textures you should use only one site of the gun and add after UV mapping, and texturing, with a modifer (Mirror) the other site...
thanks for the feedback, I plan on tuning this gun out and finishing it. Its actually my first gun or object ive ever remotely finished modeling.. so its not great and like the first poster said. its kind of shitty but ill now doubt work it out over time ">

this is Blender, or?
But looking at it I think you are doing a Great Job, especially for your First Attempt.
And don't pay any attention to the first poster, you are on the right track for sure.
Keep It Up and Good Job!
