About this image

Dmitri knew he shouldn't be here. The bear was already angry for his "borrowing" of equipment that he still hadn't bothered to return quite yet. But he had to come to the Dam early. It took him a day or so to get set up in his overwatch near the dam. He also had stolen an NCR radio from a soldier he knocked out earlier in the day. But other than his radio,he left the man be and even gave him several hundred NCR dollars for his radio.

The Kimber was there just to comfort him. The rifle was far too long to swing around if he was found in his position. And he would much rather not have to shoot who he doesn't need to shoot. He would rotate,30 minutes on his scope,15 minute nap,and 30 minutes on his binoculars. He noted in his notebook that he should bring more trailmix and water next time.

"Hmm,if I were get to over there, that would be the best possible spot.." he thought to himself. It would have to be a disguise to get there as that spot would surely be restricted access. "Where in the hell am I going to get a good NCR uniform?" he further thought.

Dmitri observed them, watched the guards carefully, seeing their habits. He had seen one, who would light a cigarette at 2:30. He was Mr.Lights. Another he saw would roam behind the office building to take a bathroom break. He decided to call him Mr.Puddles. "Oh,a Ranger." He would call him "Walker" after a famous Texas Ranger. "Hm,strange,I thought there would be more Rangers by now..maybe I should head over to Camp Golf.."

He made a note in his book
0340
Appear to be mostly older. Some seem to have combat scarring. Mr.Puddles has limp. Good? Not sure. Lights always lights up at around 0240 and smokes to apprx 0245. Walker is most certainly a veteran...
Dmitri had finished the note, doodled a map and closed the book and put it away.

Had the NCR known he was there,he would surely have been shot,or captured for interrogation, and that, with the chessboard running out of moves to be made, would surely be his checkmate. And that was something he most certainly could not risk.

With his observations complete, and his notebook filled with scribbles, maps, and doodles,he thought best that its time to pack up and leave.
