About this image
Hello, Wastelanders!
I play FO3 but i'm using the Enhanced Shader enb from FNV, so i come here to request your assistance and help your Karma! so I have FWE MMM EVE installed, my game is Archieve invalidated, Merge patched, my game is heavily moded and seems that 90% of my mods works fine, but i've been having this black flash enb bug in interior area, with only a few armors or weapons mod, so far there's 2 that does this, Dragonskin tacical armor Mod and Some Katana Mod, do anyone knows a fix for this? or should i just change my enb? Note that this only happens in interior with enb Enabled, and i don't have interior lighting overhaul installed, i have Project reality,

i had the same problem in FO3 streetlights, removed a light on a chain and it was gone..
i just had a look at Willows backpack and selected the knob which i knew triggered this behaviour, and it had a glossiness value of 60.0, so i set that to 5 and it is ok now.
so you probably want to look again at that armor nif, i guess you did not check all the entries thouroughly.
and you also know what emitting is or not ?
glossy paper reflects light, so glossy is a reflection/shinyness factor, and emittance..well light is emitted from the sun or a lightbulb..need i say more..
you can undo pretty easy if you change these settings.
try glossines to 1 and emit mult to 0.5
change these settings and choose to overwrite.
see if the textures have _g.dds files and see if there are pure white parts in that, if so. make it darker.
same for the alpha layer in the normal maps, those are _n.dds files the _n says it's a normal, the _g says it's a glowmap.
the alpha layer of the normal maps are for specularity in Fallout.
since it's a lensflare that get's triggered in the ENB, it must get a brightness peak from the armor.
you say you want to be smart, but you keep repeating that it is a ENB bug, while it is not.
I think part of the point is that the bug isn't caused by ENB at all.
it is the mod that trigges it, Willows backpack has a knob on it that triggers it too.
maybe if you ask nicely he'll look into it.
probably a screwy value for emittance or glossines in the mesh of the armor
you can also download nifskope and see in the nif of the armor if the glossines or emittance is set higher then 1
LenzReflectionIntensityNight=0.0
LenzReflectionIntensityInterior=0.0
Tried this, still bugged!
I believe it might be either a laser pistol or scope. If a laser pistol, I know I'm using WRP.
