I use to be a Ncr lawmen fighting Legion fiends

My names Carlos, ive been traveling the Mojave desert for a while now. I use to be a Ncr Trooper fighting the legion and protecting the stirp but earning little caps. I mean you got some of the legion weapons and Denaruis to use at the strip but you never got a big amount, until i entered a life style i never thought i would enter, let me start from the beginning.
I just joined the Ncr a group that was protecting the Mojave from those legion fiends. My regiment were on our way to the Hoover Dam when we came across a legion message talking about the raid on the Dam. We knew we had to rush back to the Dam to warn them of there attack. We got there and we were to late for the Dam was already neing attacked. We had troopers and rangers on the front line dropping them one by one and the recon snipers on the towers providing cover for us. 2 hours later the battle was won everyone was cheering and the troops knew they were gonna get a big amount of caps coming there way. We all knew we survived one of many attacks but we didnt care, our pay checks were rolling in. When we lined up for our pay checks all we got were $20 ncr dollars and 90 caps. Everyone was complaining and i was done. I went to ambassador crocker demaining a higher pay for the troops but was shut down. I knew then and there i was done. I went back to Goodsprings and started a new adventure with some stolen ncr gear, legion weapons, and the caps i had made.
