About this image

Sadly, the GECK dies when I try select its mesh for actual use (it did the same thing when I made weapons with laser sights in F3, damnit).

So if someone could make a service rifle that resembles the m16a2 with grenade launcher I would appreciate. I would do it, but I can't model. I can only copy branches from different meshes.

So, help! I don't care if the GL works or not.

weijiesen, I sent you a PM.

Anyone could try this though, you just need the m16 mesh from this mod from Toxa (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13549) and the service rifle mesh.

In theory, its simple. My execution is just off. And to anyone who tries, the normal SR handguard is a bit fat, and clips through the new m16a2 handguard. If anyone tries, they may want to slim it down so avoid clipping.

Oh, and I added the grenade launcher sight thing that normally should be there. Its just not on the version in the pic.

No dice on the renaming. It let the GECK load it, and I briefly got it loaded in game. From there, I tried changing hand positions and making other adjustments. Only thing was that it crashed the game, a lot.

Testing every change required nearly two separate attempts to start the game, and each time had to be a 'fresh' save. No save with the gun in my inventory worked.

And then, after just changing the scale of the handguard and its position using the xyz coordinates the GECK refused to load it again, even after I changed the name.
